Cody Weatherly is not your typical travel photographer. His adventures span the globe, capturing not just stunning vistas and vibrant cultures, but also the unpredictable, hilarious, and deeply human moments that make every journey unique.
Through my lens, you’ll witness breathtaking beauty—and behind the scenes, you’ll hear tales of wrong turns, spontaneous discoveries, and the kind of travel mishaps that leave you laughing (after the fact). But there’s more to my work than photography.
Whether he’s guiding you through a sunset shoot or a breathwork session on a mountaintop, Cody invites you to experience the world with intention, curiosity, and a whole lot of joy.
Because the journey isn’t just about where you go—it’s about how fully you show up when you get there.
It is time now that I tell people that I am a Shaman. I am here to help heal others, and the Earth.
The Shaman Side of Life
Most people do not quite understand what a shaman does:
-We are the bridge between the past, present and future.
- Helping lead the way when people are unsure of the path to take
- Healing services for people who prefer more holistic options, instead of the " take a pill society" that we have become.
- Helping people care more for the Earth, because its all we have to take care of us
- Finding wisdom when needed
- Being the root of the community
- Seeing the good in people, and helping bring that out in them
- Seeing through the "veil" between worlds
- Being a mediator between the worlds.
With that dynamic i would like to introduce myself as Cody Weatherly, new age shaman. I am pretty fresh to this and still learning new ways to heal, how to manage the huge energy pulses from others and the world, and staying grounded and centered in my part!
I am slowly working my way into teaching mindfulness coaching, as well as offering healing services along with Tanya Lines of Free the Feral Spirit.
With Mindfulness coaching i intend to:
- Bring presence and reflection into every adventure, helping others slow down, stay grounded, and connect with the deeper meaning behind each moment.

Finally, An Accomplishment!
I decided this year to enter into the 2025 Platte River Photography Competition in Douglas, Wyoming sponsored by The Enterprise.
Good News! I Placed 2nd in the amateur landscape photography category! Trust me, after seeing all of those pictures on the walls, i didn't think i had a chance.
It will be up for display at the Wyoming Pioneer Memorial Museum for 1 year!
One of my friends, Alyssa Meyers had also entered into the competition. Although she didn't place, her pictures definitely earned their place up on that wall!
